Fortunately, the bad weather along the East Coast did not delay any of my flights. As a matter of fact, the flight from Baltimore to L.A. arrived an hour early! Which meant I had a SIX-hour layover before my flight to Oz. Ergo, I had time for three glasses of wine at Vino Volo at LAX! That probably explains why I was able to sleep a little on the long flight. I have never been able to sleep more than a hour or two no matter how long the flight, so I'm thinking I may have found the solution to my problem!!
BACK TO OZ! On February 24, 2016, I leave for my second trip to Australia, this time meeting up with my Tasmanian travel buddy Marg (AKA "Sacky" on the Sudoku site). Arrive in Sydney 8:30 am. Marg arrives at 11:50 am.
Had a great first day! After picking me up at the airport at 9:30 (and before picking Marg up at the domestic flights terminal two hours later), Ken and June took me on a tour of Botany Bay, Bare Island Fort, Little Bay and Long Bay! A blitz tour of downtown Sydney followed as did a delicious dinner prepared by June. I was in the sack by 8 pm!

Marg and I had a lovely day in Sydney! We spent the morning walking the Sydney Harbour Bridge (including hiking up the parapet/pylon which afforded amazing views of the city!! )

That would probably fill Saturday and Sunday, On Friday after you arrive I would think the rest of the day in the city - North Terrace
and the river - All on one side of the street you have lovely river gardens, the museum, the art gallery , the botanic gardens and the zoo. On street over is the main shopping street.
These are only suggestions. We took Keith and Lynne to the Barossa and Harndorf, and Ian and Anne to Mt. Lofty.
